AIM Academy is seeking a Writing and Wilson Reading teacher to join our seasoned faculty. AIM Academy is focused on tapping into the unique strengths and characteristics of students who learn differently in grades 1–12. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching the Wilson Reading System® at multiple levels. WRS is designed for students in Grades 2–12 and adults with word-level deficits and uses a structured, multisensory approach to support reading development. In addition to teaching Wilson, the candidate will also support middle school students in writing, as all students participate in either Wilson or Writing as part of their literacy intervention block. AIM's writing curriculum is designed to develop students’ skills as confident, effective communicators through purposeful and engaging writing experiences. Teachers provide explicit instruction in the writing process, guiding students through planning, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing across a variety of genres. Using research-based instructional practices, technology, collaborative learning, and targeted feedback, teachers help students strengthen their organization, voice, craft, and command of language while becoming independent, reflective writers. Lower School Teacher
26/27 Full-Time Lower School Teacher
AIM Academy is looking for a dedicated, passionate, and experienced educator to join our team as a full-time Lower School Teacher (Grades 1-5) for the 26/27 school year.
At AIM, collaboration is key. Lower School teachers engage in regular discussions to review student work, participate in peer observations, share best practices, and assess student progress. Teachers also strive to maintain positive relationships with students and their families, ensuring clear, consistent, and culturally-responsive communication throughout the year and during several annual family conferences. All teachers are invited to participate in a variety of robust professional development opportunities - both within and outside of AIM Institute - as well.
Responsibilities include implementing AIM’s curriculum with fidelity, utilizing Lower School routines and procedures with consistency, crafting detailed narrative comments at the end of each marking period, and developing lesson plans, homework assignments, and assessments for reading, writing, math, and Wilson Reading System. Additional responsibilities will include attending regular faculty meetings, ordering instructional materials and supplies, and participating in community-building events. Other duties may be assigned by Administration as needed.
AIM Academy teachers demonstrate a commitment to high expectations for all students, foster a sense of collegiality, and are eager to grow professionally. The ideal candidate will hold certification in Elementary/Special Education and ideally have Wilson Reading System certification. Previous experience teaching students with language-based learning differences and familiarity with the Responsive Classroom approach is preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director of Research is responsible for directing, integrating and operationalizing the research-to-practice agenda of the AIM Institute for Learning & Research in direct service of the Institute's organizational strategy, product roadmap, and classroom impact goals. This role has dual reporting responsibilities reporting directly to the Head of Product and is equally accountable to the Head of the Institute for Learning and Research. This role exists to ensure that research meaningfully informs professional learning design, product development, and instructional practice, with a consistent focus on translating evidence into accessible and actionable tools and resources for educators. Research within the AIM Institute is purpose driven and applied. The Director of Research ensures that all research activities advance strategic priorities, strengthen products and services, and drive evidenced based content to classroom outcomes.
STRATEGIC PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Director of Research advances the institute’s position as a trusted, research-informed leader in literacy and the science of reading by ensuring that research directly supports strategic decision making and instructional impact. This role bridges external research communities, internal product, and authentic classroom environments to ensure that research informs practice and practice informs future research priorities. The objective of this role is the formalization of this virtuous cycle, ensuring that the AIM Institute remains a leader in research to practice implementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organizational Research Leadership and Accountability
- Define clear goals, objectives, and key performance indicators focused on research to practice impact directly aligned to the Institute’s strategic goals and objectives
- Ensure research efforts are aligned with product development timelines and organizational priorities

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director of Strategic Partnership to grow AIM’s partnership efforts, with a focus on driving revenue and expanding the reach of our products and professional learning into new markets. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing partnerships beyond AIM’s current core work with states and districts, expanding into areas such as higher education, tutoring, teacher development, and service-oriented organizations. These partnerships should translate into meaningful implementation and sustained impact. Through this work, you will help advance AIM’s mission to impact 100 million lives through literacy.

What you’ll do
We seek a Director of Strategic Partnerships with experience working across state agencies, districts, charter networks, philanthropy, and national education organizations. This role involves driving revenue growth through partnerships while ensuring that work is aligned, executable, and leads to sustained adoption and impact. You will:

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Account Executive is a quota-carrying, full-cycle sales professional responsible for driving new business revenue across an assigned territory of K-12 educational institutions, including state departments of education, districts, schools, and partnership organizations. This role owns the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through negotiation, close, and handoff to Relationship Management.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven hunter with 5+ years of education technology or K-12 sales experience, a deep understanding of district purchasing cycles and education funding, and a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets. They thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and bring a consultative, solutions-oriented approach to engaging educational leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
New Business Development & Quota Attainment
- Own and exceed an assigned annual sales quota through new logo acquisition and territory expansion within the K-12 and Higher Education market.
- Execute full-cycle sales activities including prospecting, qualification, discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and contract close. Execute strategic territory planning.
- Generate net-new pipeline through outbound prospecting—cold calling, personalized email sequences, social selling on LinkedIn and other platforms, and event-based outreach—while also qualifying inbound marketing leads (MQLs) into sales-qualified opportunities (SQLs).
- Conduct discovery calls and deliver tailored product demonstrations that connect AIM offerings to district-specific needs, instructional priorities, and student outcomes.
- Develop client proposals, pricing, ROI justifications, and contracts, then lead negotiations through to signed agreement.
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes involving all high-profile roles in educational leadership and higher education (e.g., superintendents, curriculum directors, literacy coordinators, business officers, deans, and school boards).
- Manage and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs in coordination with the RFP Writer, Product and other department leads as necessary.
- Travel a minimum of 40% for onsite discovery meetings, district visits, conferences, and regional networking events.
Pipeline & Territory Management
- Build and execute a strategic territory plan that prioritizes high-value accounts based on enrollment, funding profile, literacy initiatives, and product fit.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all accounts, contacts, opportunities, and activities in Salesforce, ensuring data hygiene that supports reliable forecasting.
- Deliver accurate weekly forecasts and pipeline updates to sales leadership; manage opportunities through defined stages with clear next steps and exit criteria.
- Monitor leading indicators—activity volume, conversion rates, average deal size, and sales cycle length—and adjust execution to hit KPIs.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of education funding sources, including federal Title funds, state literacy allocations, and general funds, to time outreach and structure deals around district budget cycles.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner with Marketing on account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns, lead generation programs, and conference strategy; provide field feedback to sharpen messaging and targeting.
- Collaborate with Product and Subject Matter Experts to position offerings, surface competitive intelligence, and influence the product roadmap based on customer needs.
- Coordinate with Relationship Managers and Client Success to ensure smooth onboarding and a strong first-year experience that supports renewal and expansion.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience in education technology, K-12 SaaS, curriculum, or professional learning, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding annual revenue quotas.
- Proven success closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with state departments of education, districts, and schools, including experience selling to superintendents, curriculum directors, literacy coordinators, and business officers.
- Deep understanding of K-12 district purchasing cycles, procurement processes, and education funding sources, including federal Title funds, state literacy allocations, grants, and general fund budgets.

- Demonstrated ability to generate net-new pipeline through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, personalized email sequences, social selling on LinkedIn, and event-based outreach.
- Experience managing RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, and developing customized proposals, pricing structures, ROI justifications, and contracts through to signed agreement.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms, with strong data hygiene practices and the ability to deliver accurate weekly forecasts and pipeline reporting.
- Working knowledge of modern sales tools and methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, Sandler, or similar), and comfort using sales engagement, prospecting, and conversation intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with the Science of Reading and evidence-based literacy practices, or a demonstrated ability to quickly build credibility in a content-rich, research-grounded sales environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate persuasively to senior education leaders and adapt messaging across audiences.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the discipline to manage a high-volume territory, prioritize high-value accounts, and operate effectively in a metrics-driven environment.
- Self-directed, results-driven, and resilient, with a hunter mentality and a bias toward action.
- Ability to travel a minimum of 40% for onsite meetings, district visits, conferences, and regional networking events.
- Bachelor's degree required; prior classroom teaching, district leadership, or educator experience is a strong plus.

Continuing to learn and grow as an educator is an important way AIM Academy teachers and AIM Institute team members to continue to be innovative teachers and stay connected to literacy research. All of our AIM staff have the opportunity to pursue training in our AIM Pathways literacy courses and all new teachers complete AIM professional training courses.
