WRS® Introductory Course & Level I Certification
WRS® 3-Day Introductory Course
The 3 consecutive day Wilson Reading System® (WRS) Introductory Course provides an introduction to the 4th Edition and is a prerequisite completed within the past five years, for enrollment in WRS Level I Certification course. There is a total of 16.5 instructional hours.
Materials are not included. All materials can be purchased directly from Wilson Language Training®. We suggest that you purchase and bring to class the WRS Introductory Set (Step 1-6), 4th Edition.
WRS Introductory Course Upcoming Sessions
WRS® Level I Certification
The WRS® Level I Certification prepares teachers to effectively implement WRS Steps 1-6 (4th Edition) with students reading and spelling below grade level and those diagnosed with a language-based learning disability. Participants will demonstrate mastery of the Wilson Reading System lesson plan, including multisensory techniques and effective strategies in a 1:1 setting. This course offers 90 CEU credit hours for PA Act 48.
