Specialized Reading Knowledge Bundles
Specialized Reading Knowledge: Language Focused Instruction is a fully asynchronous online courses providing comprehensive and evidence-based support for all learners. This bundle, which includes focused instruction to implement structured literacy instruction for diverse learners, was developed in collaboration with researchers, to support classroom reading instruction for English Learners and bi-dialectal speakers.
Specialized Reading Knowledge: English Learners with VCoPs is course for educators to develop expert-level knowledge that can accelerate language and literacy proficiency for English Learners (ELs) in any program model. This three-module series includes tools and resources to support immediate instructional application and features three virtual community of practice sessions with an AIM facilitator.
Prerequisite: Specialized Reading Knowledge courses are designed for educators who have already completed AIM Pathways to Proficient Reading or other structured literacy training.
