Literacy Foundations

AIM Pathways Essentials: Literacy Foundations Track is a three-lesson track designed for PreK–3 educators, literacy coaches, and administrators to help build a strong foundation in the sound structures of language. Grounded in the Science of Reading, this track equips participants with both the theoretical background and practical tools needed to strengthen early literacy instruction. Participants will explore the role of phonology in reading development, learn evidence-based strategies to support phonological awareness, and gain hands-on practices for teaching phonemic awareness effectively.
