Julia Salamone is a Curriculum and Instructional Designer for AIM Institute. Prior to joining the Institute, Julia taught for both public and private schools at the elementary and middle school level, specializing in the area of literacy. She has worked on the development of the Pathways to Proficient Reading course and is currently in production of its counterpart: Pathways to Proficient Writing. She received her M. Ed. in Special Education from Arcadia University where she worked as a member of their Building Behavior and Educational Support Teams. Additionally, Julia is Level 2 certified in the Wilson Reading System, and is RAVE-O and LiPS trained. Her educational interests include all things reading comprehension, differentiation, student writing, and teacher empowerment. Julia resides with her husband, Scott, and their daughters, Lena and Mila, in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
