Video It's Never Too Late: Remediating Reading Deficits in Older Students
Dr. Timothy N. Odegard

In this brief interview with an AIM student, Dr. Tim Odegard succinctly responds to questions related to the rationale for intervening with older students and addressing needs of students as they transition into college.

Dr. Timothy N. Odegard is a Cognitive Psychologist with expertise in learning and memory. He completed his PhD at the University of Arkansas and his postdoctoral training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. His postdoctoral work included advanced training in the use of neuroimaging to understand developmental disabilities and abnormalities in cognition, and clinical training in multisensory instruction for individuals with dyslexia. After his postdoctoral training, he joined the faculty of the University of Texas Arlington achieving the rank of Associate Professor with tenure. Tim is the former Director of Research and Evaluation at Wilson Language Training. He still holds an academic appointment at the University of Texas at Dallas’ Center for Brain Health, and is the author of numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications.
