Sentence comprehension and sentence construction are building blocks for reading comprehension. Understanding syntax helps students use the order and organization of words, phrases, and clauses within sentences to make sense of what they are reading. In this video, an instructor will discuss syntax, the language structure that acts as a vehicle for conveying meaning.
