Collaborative & Community Partnerships

AIM Institute works alongside mission-aligned partners to strengthen educator knowledge, expand access to evidence-based literacy practices, and support communities working to ensure all children become skilled, confident readers. These partnerships reflect AIM’s belief that meaningful, lasting change in literacy happens when we learn together, lead together, and act together.

Key Partnerships Include:

  • Read by 4th – Philadelphia
    A citywide coalition committed to ensuring every Philadelphia child reads on grade level by fourth grade. AIM contributes educator training and shared expertise to advance this collective mission. Check out the Parent Workshop on Early Reading Skills we developed in collaboration with Drexel University and Read by 4th.

  • The Dyslexia Foundation
    Working together to deepen understanding of dyslexia and support the work of literacy researchers to support our work translation of research into practical, teacher-friendly tools that improve instruction for all learners.

  • Educating All Learners Alliance (EALA)
    AIM was an inaugural partner in this organization promoting inclusive learning environments and elevate practices that support students with diverse learning needs.

  • Chiefs for Change
    Collaborating with system leaders committed to improving literacy outcomes at scale and ensuring every educator has access to high-quality training grounded in the science of reading.

  • Reading Universe
    Contributing expertise to a national, research-based resource designed to help educators build and strengthen their reading instruction knowledge.

  • The Learning Alliance
    Joining community partners to strengthen literacy ecosystems and support educators in delivering high-impact, evidence-based instruction.

  • Transcend’s Models Exchange
    Partnering to expand access to innovative, research-based instructional models and share practical tools that help schools adopt evidence-aligned literacy practices that meet the needs of diverse learners.

Collective Action for Literacy
Across all these partnerships, AIM is part of a growing movement committed to transforming the way educators are prepared and supported. Together with leaders, teachers, families, and communities, we are aligning around what works, expanding access to proven practices, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn to read and to thrive.

Training Partners

  • AIM Institute offers the opportunity to receive Graduate Credits from with Arcadia University upon successful completion of AIM Pathways courses.
  • Each year AIM Academy welcomes Teacher Scholars, special education graduate students at St. Joseph's University, to the faculty. These young educators learn to implement AIM's Integrated Literacy Model in the classroom as they complete their master's degree.
  • In Fall 2025, AIM launched its first dual-enrollment class on campus at AIM Academy through Penn State University-Abington with Upper School Counselor Katherine Precourt serving as an adjunct professor.
