Since 2022, nearly 3,000 Mississippi educators and leaders have participated in AIM professional learning. In 2024-2025, 895 AIM Pathways participants averaged 34.2% knowledge gains, and in two DeSoto County schools, students taught by AIM-trained educators showed stronger reading growth than peers in classrooms without AIM-trained teachers.

State assessment proficiency climbed from 33% (2022) to 51% (Spring 2025) after Superintendent Dr. Khalek Kirkland launched a leader-centered literacy learning journey, beginning with a 2023 summer intensive in Pathways to Literacy Leadership and scaling AIM Pathways training to nearly 450 educators.
