Dr. Megan Gierka is a nationally recognized literacy expert who transforms research into action. From classrooms to Congress, she leads implementation of structured literacy across states and schools, architecting plans, advocating policy, and empowering educators to ensure all children can read.

Janice Brenes Catinchi

Janice brings 18 years of experience as a teacher, coach, and interventionist across public and private sectors. She previously served as an ELA Senior Administrator in one of the largest U.S. districts, leading Science of Reading–aligned initiatives. Janice holds a B.S. in K-3 Education, a master’s in Educational Leadership, and is a CERI-certified Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Interventionist. In 2016, she was recognized by the International Multi-Sensory Structured Language Education Council for advancing equitable reading access in Puerto Rico.

Jennifer Paulsen brings over 30 years of experience in public education. A certified trainer and Implementation Team facilitator, she has led RtI efforts and advanced structured literacy practices as a school leader. Jennifer has mentored new principals, collaborated with researchers and service districts, and served on numerous district and state committees. She holds degrees and certifications from the University of Portland, Pacific University, Portland State University, and Concordia University.

Adrienne Reese oversees AIM’s instructional coaching model and certification process. With over 20 years in education, she has experience from preschool through secondary, with a focus on coaching and diagnostic, prescriptive instruction. Adrienne holds a Master’s in Curriculum Instruction Language and Literacy from Arizona State University, is a CERI®-certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist, and a Wilson® Dyslexia Therapist.
