Neuroscience has profoundly impacted the way we teach mathematics. Knowing why some students fall behind before third grade or why others fail to gain fluency with multiplication facts are only two insights that have helped us develop alternative ways of meeting the needs of those who learn differently. This session will highlight some of what we have learned and how we are using that knowledge to help struggling learners.
