Learning Management System Administrator

Job Summary:

The AIM Institute for Learning & Research is experiencing dramatic growth in our mission to address literacy nationwide. We have grown from just over 200 participants two years ago to over 6,000 this year! As a result of this growth, we are seeking a Learning Management System Administrator who will support our learning platforms as we continue to expand our offerings.

The LMS Administrator is responsible for managing the Learning Management System for AIM Institute. They provide direct technical support for both learners and administrators. They develop and provide analytics dashboards and reports for clients, course facilitators, and Institute leadership. This position is responsible for configuring new courses and content on the LMS, as well as for creation of blended learning curricula within the system. In addition, this role is responsible for day-to-day support of the Institute’s Salesforce CRM environment.

Essential Functions:

System Maintenance and Operations

  • Support Registration of learners to LMS

  • Work with LMS provider to remain current on system specifications and updates

  • Communicate updates and changes to the staff as needed

  • Provide end-user support (application support, e-learning, training support requests, and other areas as requested)

System Administration Support

  • Review all training material that has been deployed through the LMS on a regular basis 

  • Perform system testing for changes/updates to the LMS.

  • Communicate with various stakeholders as needed in order to define requirements for a variety of training reports

  • Recommend training solutions through personal experience and feedback from the clients to improve the current structure of offerings

  • Backup and troubleshoot material hosted on the LMS

  • Responsible for the auditing LMS usage, monitoring compliance, monitoring data integrity, editing data and records to ensure accuracy, and preparing and creating reports on a timely basis

  • Coordinate and monitor data entry with end users and assists in end user training of LMS application

  • Test 3rd party software and content for integration into the LMS and serves as liaison to outside vendor as LMS subject matter expert when needed 

Training Measurement and Evaluation

  • Provide operational consulting to departments in the use of the LMS to support effective business processes.

  • Prepare, deliver and manage reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and future issues related to LMS data

  • Prepare, deliver and manage reports as requested from Institute departments or external businesses 

  • Maintain effective business practices in all areas of responsibility

  • Other duties or responsibilities as required

Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce CRM)

  • Create and publish CRM forms and fields

  • Implement marketing automation strategies within Pardot as directed by the Consulting and Marketing teams

  • Develop reports and dashboards 

  • Maintain user security profiles.
