This leader will drive the strategy, development, and execution of our methodology driving systemic change in our approach to literacy and as a result help us to change the lives of children throughout the world.

Position Overview:

As the Head of Implementation Strategy, you will need to be a pioneer, working fearlessly with our client partners to rethink how we approach systemic change at an organizational level, utilizing knowledge of change theory and implementation science. You will be responsible for building a blueprint for educational institutions’ approach to sustainable change. You will be working hand in hand with AIM experts and noted researchers to put the research of implementation science into a scalable process. You will work with AIM’s nationally recognized school to help codify their tools and practices to support your blueprint for systemwide implementation. You will be helping us democratize reading across the world by ensuring that education leaders and teachers, as well as the systems they work and interact with, have the knowledge, processes, and tools they need to implement effective evidence-based instruction and manage system-wide change in classrooms everywhere. Reporting directly to AIM’s CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s trajectory through the development and execution of a global blueprint for change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a working blueprint for Implementation Science to be applied throughout the educational ecosystem. The development of this blueprint will include methodology, tools and talent.

  • You will secure pilot organizations to work with us in the field. You will be responsible for building prototypes and collecting feedback to adjust and modify our approach in real time.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic plans and recommendations throughout the implementation stages based on data and barrier identification.

  • Securing and working with leading researchers, including collaborating with AIM’s Product Development and Client Success teams and their world-class team of facilitators and coaches to address client needs effectively.

  • You will also launch this service nationwide. Developing and implementing go-to-market strategies, working collaboratively with the Head of RFPs and Partnerships, Growth and Impact, and Marketing  teams to position our solution effectively, given the competitive landscape.

  • You will be actively engaged in providing thought leadership to the market through conference papers and speaking arrangements.

  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of implementation specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of our progress with these pioneering services.

Qualifications:

  • Expert-level knowledge in evidence-based literacy instruction

  • Active network of potential talent to build a delivery service practice.

  • Proven experience in strategic consulting, project management, or implementation strategy, preferably in a client-facing role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Deep understanding of implementation methodologies, change management principles, and best practices.

  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and support implementation activities.
