Position Overview:

As the Head of Growth & Impact, you will be responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth and empowering lives through literacy education. You will be helping us democratize reading across the world by ensuring that education leaders and teachers have the knowledge and tools they need to implement effective evidence-based instruction in classrooms everywhere.  Reporting directly to AIM’s CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s trajectory through the development and execution of comprehensive growth strategies. The Head of Growth and Impact will inspire a talented team and collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to achieve ambitious goals and drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies. Build an understanding of our solutions, the markets, and our competition.  Work collaboratively with Marketing to position our solution effectively, given the competitive landscape.

  • Maintain department budget and drive revenue growth across all channels by identifying new market opportunities, optimizing existing revenue streams, and developing strategic partnerships.

  • Lead market expansion efforts, both domestically and internationally, by identifying new markets, evaluating market entry strategies, and overseeing market penetration initiatives.

  • Work closely with product development teams to identify market trends, customer needs, and product opportunities to enhance the company's product portfolio and drive innovation.

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team. Ensure alignment with growth objectives and effective execution of go-to-market strategies.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives, analyze performance data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize results.

  • Build and mentor a high-performing growth team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.


  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and scaling businesses, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in leadership roles.

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing growth strategies, including market expansion and customer acquisition.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Working knowledge of contracting.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for innovation, knowledge of the education industry, and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to travel as needed to develop partnerships and support growth initiatives at conferences and other events.

  • Working knowledge of SalesForce and HubSpot a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
