Teacher Track
The teacher session, led by Amplify, will build a common knowledge base of the Reading Rope and support educators in developing effective instruction based on the Science of Reading.
Teachers will learn to:
- identify the strands in the Reading Rope.
- describe how each strand plays an important role in developing skilled readers and writers.
- identify key look-fors in effective instruction based on the Science of Reading.
Administrator Track
The administrator session, led by AIM Institute for Learning & Research, will provide insights and tools to lay the groundwork to support educators in successfully implementing instruction grounded in structured literacy.
Administrators will:
- learn a streamlined implementation science model to apply in their setting.
- use a literacy-needs assessment to analyze the current implementation.
- engage in mock focus groups to understand barriers and make adjustments to meet implementation goals.
